So as you know we are putting on a tournament and social on January 29, 2011 for the MS Society of Canada. Although you're probably wondering how and what exactly is all going to happen.
Well let us tell you!
We are going to be having the tournament from 8am-7pm with 6 teams. Yes it's early, and I bet the teams are really hoping they get one of the 10am slots instead. Well that can be arranged, the teams that get us the information first will get the 'better' slots. Which if you look on the game sheet schedule, is 10am.
During the outdoor tournament there will be a beer garden starting around 12pm for anyone to come and enjoy. Spectators are more than welcome to come and join us while we cheer on the teams! We would love to see people there to cheer on your friends, classmates, family members, or just favorite team. It will help motivate them to win the tournament to get the championship prize. Which we will specify possibly in a later blog post just to keep you on your toes.
So since all this great stuff is happening make sure to come down, spend some time with us and show your support for the MS Society of Canada by donating, or purchasing an 'in-spirit' ticket for our social. which is only $10.

Move Your Soul for Multiple Sclerosis
January 29, 2011 at Silver Heights Community Center Move Your Soul Fundraising Event is taking place. It's a one day co-ed tournament and social in the evening to raise money for MS.
This is what this whole blog is here for. To tell you about this upcoming cause that gets people in action in support of the MS Society of Canada.
We are two Red River College students putting on this event as part of our Independent Professional Project for the Creative Communications program.
Why we chose to putt on this event is very close to our hearts. We both are avid ringette players and we both have people in our lives who suffer with Multiple Sclerosis. Including one of our former ringette friends who had to quit playing at a young age because of the effects MS has on her body.
This was the largest inspiration for us to put on the event, we want to help fight for the cure so we don't see anymore friends unable to play.
We have many ways you can reach us. Through Facebook, Twitter, email, and of coarse this blog. So please don't hesitate to contact us if you have a team that you want to enter, or just want to buy a ticket to help support the cause.
